SA Roosevelt is 0-8-2 against Reagan since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The SA Roosevelt Rough Riders will head out on the road to face off against the Reagan Rattlers at 7:00 p.m. SA Roosevelt comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
SA Roosevelt fell victim to Clark's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. Their tough 3-0 loss to the Cougars might stick with them for a while.
Reagan, on the other hand, haven't lost since January 12th and they too continued that trend. They and Churchill finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.
Reagan's goal came courtesy of
Jesus Carrillo, who's now up to three this season.
SA Roosevelt's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only scored zero goals over those four matchups. With that draw, Reagan's record moves to 6-3-3.
SA Roosevelt suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Reagan in their previous meeting back in March of 2022. Can SA Roosevelt avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
