The Lanesville Eagles will head out on the road to  face off against  the North Harrison Cougars at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Lanesville is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 Lanesville's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They walked away with  a   3-0  win over Paoli.
  Felicity Cunningham made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Cunningham has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Cunningham was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Cunningham wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Makenna Mills, who  went 3-for-4 with a  triple and a  run. Another player making a difference was  Ellie Schneider, who  went 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, North Harrison scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Saturday. They blew past Clarksville 16-4.
  Kendal Maher was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gabby White, who  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Lanesville is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record  this season. As for North Harrison, their record is now 7-9.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lanesville has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.5  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like North Harrison struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.2. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
 Lanesville beat North Harrison 6-2  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lanesville since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
