River Ridge and Warren are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. Both teams will face off at 11:00 a.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Warren took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on River Ridge, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, River Ridge blew past West Carroll, posting a 60-28 victory at home. The victory was just what River Ridge needed coming off of a 64-44 loss in their prior game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead River Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damon Dittmar, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Heidenreich, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Warren unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. Their rough 63-41 loss to Galena might stick with them for a while. Warren has not had much luck with Galena recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
River Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Warren, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-15.
