Masterman took down Carver High School of Engineering & Science on Thursday, a win that might not have happened without Gabe Larosa's standout effort. Larosa did his part (and then some), striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits for the 'W'. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
