Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Canton South Wildcats a 9-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Canton South, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
