The South Hills Huskies''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Los Osos 19-13. South Hills has not had much luck with Los Osos recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, South Hills still got an impressive performance from Matthew Moreno, who rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown.
Mason Overacker went supernova for Los Osos, rushing for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 69 yards and a touchdown. Overacker was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
South Hills' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Los Osos, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
South Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Los Osos will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against South Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. One thing working in South Pasadena's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
