Seymour is a perfect 10-0 against Xavier since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Thunder will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 4:30 p.m. Seymour's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Xavier's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Seymour is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Green Bay West/East a 17-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Thunder, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Seymour got a massive performance out of Kaylee Rettler, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Rettler a new career-high. Kylie Ashman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Meanwhile, Xavier fell victim to Fox Valley Lutheran and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Fox, falling 14-0. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Fox: they've now lost eight in a row.
The win made it two in a row for Seymour and bumps their season record up to 16-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Xavier, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Seymour hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .389. However, it's not like Xavier struggles in that department as they've averaged .343. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Seymour's way against Xavier in their previous matchup back in April, as Seymour made off with a 13-1 win. Do the Thunder have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
