It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Skyview Hawks can now relate to. They took a 41-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. Skyview has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Emmett to victory, but perhaps none more so than Erin Hadley, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Hadley has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalie Goslin, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Skyview has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Emmett, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-12.
Skyview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 38-32 loss vs. Ridgevue on the 7th. Emmett has also already played their next game, a 54-36 defeat against Bishop Kelly on the 6th.
