The Pinnacle Timberwolves were the 68-29 winner over the Frontier Academy Wolverines when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Pinnacle lost to Frontier Academy on the road by a decisive 64-46 margin on Tuesday.
Jackson Steward was on fire for Frontier Academy: he dropped a double-double on 28 points and 16 rebounds. Kaden Robles was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
The Pinnacle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Frontier Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
The Pinnacle will be playing at home against Bishop Machebeuf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bishop Machebeuf focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday. As for Frontier Academy, they will face off against Alamosa at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
