Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast Guilford). They blew past the High Point Central Bison 21-4 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won six in a row.

Micah Wilson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Northeast Guilford got a massive performance out of Josh Jones, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI Jones has posted since back in April of 2024. Caiden McNeil was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI.

Northeast Guilford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .621. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Northeast Guilford's record now sits at 5-7. As for High Point Central, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
