The St. James Sharks''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Carolina Forest, falling 42-14. St. James was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Although St. James took the loss, they still got scores from Hunter Spurlin and Jace Shropshire.
St. James has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Carolina Forest, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
St. James does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Carolina Forest will square off against West Ashley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Ashley is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
