Poplarville got some further help from Sam LeJeune: he picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).
The victory was the third in a row for Poplarville, bringing their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points over those games. As for McComb, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2.
