The Bartram Trail Bears will challenge the Nease Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bartram Trail is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
Bartram Trail gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Ridgeview 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Rommeney Patrey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hailey Allen, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucie McDonald, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.
Bartram Trail hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Nease earned a 10-5 win over First Coast on Tuesday.
Sydney Davis made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Davis was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
In other batting news, Miranda Harmon was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Kristina Campbell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Bartram Trail now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Nease, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bartram Trail has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Nease struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.6 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
