Meanwhile, after soaring to 45 points the game before, Lindenhurst was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to Sachem East. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.
Having lost for the first time this season, Lindenhurst fell to 3-1. As for William Floyd, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
William Floyd strolled past Lindenhurst in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a score of 46-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colonials since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
