Perth Amboy is 6-1 against Piscataway since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Perth Amboy has six straight wins, Piscataway has 13 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Perth Amboy came out on top against Kennedy Memorial on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 victory over the Mustangs. 12 seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Edith Luciano was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one triple. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Kiarelys Santiago also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Piscataway scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 17-11 to Carteret.
Alisha Dhillon led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Salgado, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Perth Amboy's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Piscataway, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Perth Amboy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .376. However, it's not like Piscataway struggles in that department as they've averaged .321. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Perth Amboy took their victory against Piscataway in their previous meeting on Friday by a conclusive 14-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
