The Chagrin Falls Tigers will be playing at home against the Bay Rockets at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Chagrin Falls will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Even though Chagrin Falls has not done well against Perry recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Chagrin Falls strolled past Perry with points to spare, taking the game 43-28.
Chagrin Falls can attribute much of their success to Avery Russell, who scored 16 points along with two steals, and Lilly Stukus, who scored 17 points along with two steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Stukus has scored at least a third of Chagrin Falls' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elena Goodwin, who scored five points.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bay's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 44-36 to Perkins. While losing is never fun, Bay can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 472nd, while Perkins is ranked 210th).
Chagrin Falls has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Bay, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-10.
