Meanwhile, even though Rhodes scored an imposing 65 points on Saturday, Villa Angela-St. Joseph still came out on top. Villa Angela-St. Joseph took their game against Rhodes 73-65.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Villa Angela-St. Joseph to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sean Shenker, who scored 20 points. Antonio Brown was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
University School has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5.
