The Pleasantville Greyhounds entered their tilt with the Johnson Crusaders with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Pleasantville claimed a resounding 55-22 victory over Johnson at home. The result was nothing new for Pleasantville, who have now won five games by 29 points or more so far this season.
Pleasantville's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ahmad Jones, who threw for 106 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Rashad Floyd was another key contributor, rushing for 67 yards and a touchdown.
Pleasantville's win was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.2 points. As for Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Pleasantville will face off against Willingboro at TBD on Friday. Willingboro has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 125 points over their last three matches. Johnson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
