Everything went their way against Maranatha Christian Academy as Bishop Seabury Academy made off with a 80-54 win. Given Bishop Seabury Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Eagles are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bishop Seabury Academy found their leader in underclassman Jace Hoffman, who went 9 for 16 from beyond the arc en route to 36 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hoffman has scored all season. Chase Honarvar was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Bishop Seabury Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bishop Ward the next time they take the court. Bishop Seabury Academy will host the Cyclones at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
