Chattanooga Prep will stroll in with a 11 game home winning streak, but they should still watch out: the last time they lost at home was their January 26 matchup with Hamilton Heights Christian Academy.
After only two points in their last game, Chattanooga Prep made sure to put some points up on the board against Tyner Academy two weeks ago. Chattanooga Prep breezed by Tyner Academy at home to the tune of 67-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Chattanooga Prep has posted since December 8, 2023.
Ta'Suade Williams and Roberson were among the main playmakers for Chattanooga Prep as the former scored 16 points and the latter scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eli Gaines, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Hamilton Heights Christian Academy stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Sunday. They blew past Wesley Christian 74-54. Winning may never get old, but Hamilton Heights Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Hamilton Heights Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samuels, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Samuels has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin De Kovachich, who scored 19 points.
Chattanooga Prep has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.
Chattanooga Prep came up short against Hamilton Heights Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 71-59. Can Chattanooga Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
