The Katy Tigers had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cinco Ranch 42-13 on the road. The result was nothing new for Katy, who have now won five contests by 24 points or more so far this season.
Tremayne Hill was his usual excellent self, rushing for 170 yards and two touchdowns. Hill is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. Israel Olotu-Judah was in the mix as well, providing Katy with two touchdowns.
Katy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.3 points per game. As for Cinco Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Coincidentally, Katy and Cinco Ranch will both be playing Seven Lakes the next time they take the field. Katy will host Seven Lakes at 7:15 p.m. on October 27th, while Cinco Ranch will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on November 2nd.
