Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Central). They blew past the Faith Christian Eagles 21-2 on Monday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Jalie Glasford made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, West Central got a massive performance out of Kailee Bishop, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Cassidy Lattimore was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.
West Central hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive contests.
