Peyton entered their tilt with Evangel Christian Academy on Thursday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 70-52. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Peyton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trent Gregg, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 17 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. That's the most blocks Gregg has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Love, who went 8-for-10 en route to 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Peyton was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They are 11-4 when they've passed the ball that well.

Evangel Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Boaz Galliart, who scored 28 points. Anderson Schultz was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Peyton's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Peyton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-44 victory against Fowler on the 21st. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-32 loss against Limon on the 22nd.
