The Bethel Wildcats came into Thursday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Immaculate by a score of 53-42 on Thursday. For Bethel, this counts as revenge for the 49-36 defeat Immaculate walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Callie Miller, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Miller is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's played. Kristina Asmani was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Bethel's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Immaculate, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8.
Bethel will face off against Bunnell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Immaculate, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Northwest Catholic at 1:45 p.m.
