The University Bulldogs won against the Sterling Tigers last Friday with 30 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. University took down Sterling 30-14. Winning may never get old, but University sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Leading University to victory were Coel Croissant and Brevon Doss. Croissant threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns, while Doss gained 173 total yards and two touchdowns.
Sterling's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hunter Diamond, who threw for 179 yards and two touchdowns.
University's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.67 points. As for Sterling, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
University will face off against Florence at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Florence is ranked 78th, while University is ranked 62nd). Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
