The Broadmoor Buccaneers will head out to take on the Baker Buffaloes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Baker took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Broadmoor, who comes in off a win.
Broadmoor is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Thrive Academy to the tune of 86-42 on Tuesday. The Buccaneers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Eric Jordan Jr. went supernova, shooting 73% from the field to rack up 17 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds. Those eight boards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chad Sanders, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Broadmoor was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Baker ended up a good deal behind East Iberville on Monday and lost 55-39. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Tigers are ranked 52nd).
Broadmoor will need to focus on slowing down Jeremy Allen, one of several Baker players who made an impact when they last played. He had 17 points and four steals. Allen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyrone Harris, who put up 11 points in addition to seven boards and five steals.
Broadmoor's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Baker, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Broadmoor against Baker in their previous meeting back in November of 2025, as the squad secured a 73-35 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Harris, who scored 26 points. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Buccaneers still be able to contain Harris? There's only one way to find out.
