St. Dominic came into Saturday's   game looking for another win against Christ the King, but  Isaiah Smith wouldn't allow it. The Royals took their  contest  on Saturday with ease, bagging  a  44-6 win over the Bayhawks with plenty of help from  Smith, who rushed for 182 yards and four  touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 182 yards and a pair of  TDs on only eight passes. He has become a key player for Christ the King: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
 Christ the King didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Xavier Adu and  Justin Brothers. Brothers is also on a roll when it comes to  defended passes, as he's  now  defended  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.
Christ the King has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 32.5 points over those games. As for St. Dominic,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Coming up, Christ the King will take on Xavier at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Knights' defense has only allowed 13.5  points per game  this season, so the Royals' offense will have their work cut out for them. St. Dominic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
