The Bonneville Bees's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell 69-57 to Blackfoot. Bonneville has not had much luck with Blackfoot recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Blackfoot's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Andersen, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Andersen is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Sy Callister, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Bonneville has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Blackfoot, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
Bonneville will head out on the road to square off against Idaho Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Idaho Falls is on an 11-game streak of home losses, Bonneville a ten-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. Blackfoot will take on Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Skyline has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 282 points over their last four matches.
