The Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Forge Christian Fury at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Eagle Ridge Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Fort Lupton, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bluedevils: they've now won five in a row.
The win didn't come easy: Fort Lupton scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 20-25, 25-23.

Eagle Ridge Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Javier Pargas, who had 15 digs, and Cole Crawford, who had 13 digs, eight aces, and five kills. Crawford has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last seven times he's played.
They weren't the only good server: Eagle Ridge Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Forge Christian earned a 3-1 victory over Arrupe Jesuit on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fury.
Forge Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-18.
Eagle Ridge Academy's record now sits at 9-7. As for Forge Christian, their record is now 5-12.
Eagle Ridge Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Forge Christian when the teams last played on April 1st, sneaking past 3-2. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Fury's Seth Davies, who had 21 digs and two assists.
