The Gulliver Prep Raiders lost against the Palmer Trinity Falcons back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. Gulliver Prep fell  44-36 to Palmer Trinity. While losing is never fun, Gulliver Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 126th, while Palmer Trinity is ranked 45th).
 Several Raiders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Caitlen Dauphin, who  scored 9 points along with 13  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mikayla Brown, who  scored 14 points along with 7  rebounds.
 Gulliver Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Palmer Trinity, they have yet to lose a  matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 5-2 record.
 Gulliver Prep will be playing at home against Archbishop McCarthy at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Palmer Trinity, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwestern at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
