West Rowan came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the East Rowan Mustangs 5-3. Raney Phelps was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.
