The Frisco Raccoons pushed their score all the way to 63 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 78-63 bruising from Reedy. Frisco was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Reedy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
It was another big night for Rylen Mitro, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds for Reedy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mitro has scored all season. Connor Mcgrath was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Frisco's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Reedy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-17.
Frisco will head out on the road to take on Newman Smith at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Newman Smith presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Frisco in Texas (Newman Smith is ranked 111th, while Frisco is ranked 251st). As for Reedy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wakeland at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Reedy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
