Marian came into Saturday's game looking for another win against Gretna, but Lily Zimmerman wouldn't allow it. The Dragons came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Zimmerman, who had 12 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.

Gretna's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Marian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Gretna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Elkhorn North on the 30th. As for Marian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Omaha Westside on the 30th.
