The Windber Ramblers will head out on the road to  take on  the McConnellsburg Spartans at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 On Monday, Windber made easy work of Rockwood  and carried off  a  12-2 win. The  victory was just what Windber needed coming off of  a  17-5 defeat in their prior  game.
  Lucas Rummel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Rummel was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Ace Kolson looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 Back at the plate, Windber got a  massive  performance out of  Logan Serenko, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4.  Andrew Scalia was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, McConnellsburg waltzed into their contest  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of  5-1.
  Landin Gress looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit over four innings pitched.  Kohen Hall relieved him and did a solid job,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned run off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk).
 At the plate,  Gavin Fowler was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Jackson Clevenger, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 The  win  got Windber back to even at 1-1. As for McConnellsburg, their record now sits at 3-0.
