Camarillo had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Jurupa Hills on Saturday. The Scorpions blew past the Spartans 13-1. The Scorpions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Laynee Flores was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run. Khloie Hartman was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Camarillo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jurupa Hills only posted an OBP of .391.

Camarillo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Jurupa Hills, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Camarillo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Moorpark on the 2nd. As for Jurupa Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-1 defeat against Saugus on the 29th.
