Michael Nottleman put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Columbus is 5-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 12-13 otherwise.

Nottleman's strong effort led Columbus over Sonoraville and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
