Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Unity Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aidan Robinson, who scored 16 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for him. Donovan O'Neil was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six steals.
Portage Christian bumped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Unity Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season.
Portage Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westville at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th. Hopefully Westville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Saturday. As for Unity Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Grant Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
