The Springstead Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Anclote Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springstead will be strutting in after a win while Anclote will be coming in after a loss.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Springstead nor Central made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Eagles blew past the Bears 10-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Meanwhile, Anclote was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of Keswick Christian.
Like Springstead, Anclote also got a great game from a two-way player: Sam Fanning. He pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off three hits. Furthermore, Fanning didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2025.
