There's no place like home for the Texas City Stingarees, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 35-29 win over Santa Fe on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Texas City also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Baldridge, who scored five points along with two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Jewell, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Texas City's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-15. As for Santa Fe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Manvel the next time they take the court. Santa Fe will host Manvel at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Texas City will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
