Shining Star Sports Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Central Pointe Christian Academy National. The Shining Star Sports Academy Panthers walked away with a 78-66 victory over the Central Pointe Christian Academy National White Tigers. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 57-50 win the White Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March.

Shining Star Sports Academy had a senior duo take command as Harissoum Coulibaly went 8 for 9 on her way to 20 points in addition to five assists and five boards and Ndeye Diagne posted 14 points and eight boards. Coulibaly's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Filomena Luis, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 12 points.

Shining Star Sports Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Pointe Christian Academy National only pulled down four offensive rebounds.
