Polk County won the last time they faced Patton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolverines blew past the Panthers 5-1. The result was nothing new for Polk County, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Patton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabby Savaia (2), Jessica Baird, Charley Dusenbury, and Hayden Blackwell.

Polk County's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Patton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Coming up, Polk County will face off against Hendersonville at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Patton, they will challenge McDowell at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Patton are facing McDowell at the right time seeing as McDowell are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
