Basketball Game Preview: Mishawaka Marian Knights vs. Glenn Falcons

Mishawaka Marian is 9-1 against Glenn since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Mishawaka Marian Knights will challenge the Glenn Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mishawaka Marian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, posting a 60-19 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Mishawaka Marian relied on the efforts of Kariya Byer, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds, and Elle Boser, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards. Boser is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's played. Fane Sete was another key player, putting up six points.

Mishawaka Marian was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Glenn rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They skirted past the Pilgrims/Rockies 37-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since December 17, 2024.

Glenn has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Mishawaka Marian, their win bumped their record up to 5-16.
