The Lincoln Mustangs's homestand continues as they prepare to take on The Academy - San Francisco Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on February 12th. Lincoln will be strutting in after a win while The Academy - San Francisco will be coming in after a defeat.
Lincoln stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand June Jordan School of Equity a 3-0 shutout.
Lincoln hit June Jordan School of Equity with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Eliseo Lopez,
Henry Hernandez, and
Victor Alvarado.
Meanwhile, The Academy - San Francisco fell victim to Burton's stalwart defense last Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell 2-0 to the Pumas. The Academy - San Francisco has struggled against Burton recently, as their match last Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 7-1-1 record this season. As for The Academy - San Francisco, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-2.
