After losing to Loretto the last time they met, Mt. Pleasant decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers blew past the Mustangs 37-7 on Thursday. With the Tigers ahead 30-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mt. Pleasant to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kayden McCrory, who rushed for 78 yards and two TDs. McCrory is becoming a predictor of the Tigers' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Payton Niehaus did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 106 receiving yards.
