Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Memorial Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Porter, who scored 18 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Porter has scored at least a third of Memorial Lutheran's points. Benjamin Smith was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, Family Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 49-20 loss at the hands of Divine Savior Academy - Sienna. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Family Christian has scored all season.
Memorial Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Family Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.
