Memorial extended the longest winning streak in 5A District 3 this week by beating Skiatook, 25-23. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Shawnee led the league in scoring this week by notching 56 points on Durant.
McAlester's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Caden Pratt threw for 189 and 2 touchdowns and Mason Bumphus had 94 yards receiving. On the ground Jarome Smith contributed 152 yards. Cade Harkins helped McAlester's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 84 yards.
The Buffaloes' dynamic duo of Pratt and Bumphus proved tough for Bishop Kelley to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Harkins helped McAlester's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 84 yards.
He was 10-21 with 1 interception.
McAlester's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Buffaloes feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dalton Wood has thrown for 960 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Harkins has 31 catches for 583 yards.
The Bulldogs are in fifth place, while McAlester is in first place.
Memorial made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,525 from 3,749. The improvement was largely due to a 25-23 victory over Skiatook last week.
