The Jackson Aggies waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against T.R. Miller by a score of 43-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Jackson also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Jackson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Angel Powell out in front who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Tyra Caves, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Jackson's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. As for T.R. Miller, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4.
Jackson the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Satsuma at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Satsuma is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for T.R. Miller, they will head out on the road to challenge W.S. Neal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. W.S. Neal will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 331st, while T.R. Miller is ranked 80th).
