The Coral Springs Charter Panthers on the road again on Monday and play against the Coconut Creek Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After soaring to 56 points the game before, Coral Springs Charter were a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 43-20 loss at the hands of Don Soffer Aventura. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Coral Springs Charter has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Coconut Creek's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 74-54 defeat to McArthur might stick with them for a while. Coconut Creek has not had much luck with McArthur recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
McKevan Bell put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 24 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jordan Weatherspoon, who scored nine points.
Coral Springs Charter bumped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Coconut Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
Coral Springs Charter couldn't quite finish off Coconut Creek in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 and fell 56-54. Can Coral Springs Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
