Mt. Pleasant Christian won against Cornerstone Christian last Tuesday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Everything went the Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions' way against the First Assembly Christian Lions as the Mt. Pleasant Christian Lions made off with a 59-38 win. With that victory, Mt. Pleasant Christian brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.

Mt. Pleasant Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aidan Brown out in front who posted 14 points along with eight assists and eight boards. Karson Battles was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

First Assembly Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bryce Sasser, who put up 14 points, and Garrison Williams, who had 13 points.

The victory was the third in a row for Mt. Pleasant Christian, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for First Assembly Christian, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Mt. Pleasant Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-33 win against Marshall Christian Academy on the 10th. As for First Assembly Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-33 loss against Hope Christian Academy on the 9th.
