The Dumont Huskies will head out on the road to face off against the Bergenfield Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Thursday, Dumont was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-47 to Cliffside Park. Dumont has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Bergenfield ended up a good deal behind Ridgewood on Saturday and lost 68-50. While losing is never fun, Bergenfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while Ridgewood is ranked 43rd).
Dumont has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season. As for Bergenfield, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.
